Rewriting the Lord's Prayer? I've done it a few times, now, and found it helpful.
Doing a set prayer, now--even though I'm in accord with a set prayer, I'd rather just "say" things the way they're coming out at the time.
Favorite prayers (in practice): "Now what?", "Thank you!" & "Lord have mercy!"
I'm afraid to ask God to make me better... It might require some experiences I'd rather skip.
