""I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." 1 Corinthians 9:22.
I find it easy to wish that I was somewhere else, somebody else, somebody without all my blemishes and flaws. But I'm right where I need to be for God to do with me what he wills.
Purity of Heart is to will one thing.

Ah! Kierkegaard. I wish I didn't find his writing style so so very inaccessible. I've never actually been able to read through Purity of Heartt.
To be wounded by what people imagine to be proper and good, amused by their fears, saddened that they recognize neither their true enemies nor their Friend.
I used to say, "I am all things to all men, to annoy them all!" & I still have that talent, and likewise often "find it easy to wish that I was somebody else," though there has never been anyone I should envy!
Purity of Heart... no, this heart, for what it's worth.
