Today, New Years Eve day my grandmother was admitted to hospital sufffering from disorientation. Her oxygen saturation levels in the blood are low as is her blood count. Evidence of internal damage. She's receiving a blood transfusion and massive numbers of tests.

She's 91. She's resisted the nursing home option for some time now but it looks like the choice will finally be made and not by her.
